I’ve been wanting to photograph this look for a while now and I think you can gather that me and Colie, my sister and photog, had a ball capturing autumn in all of it’s Oh La La-ness out back. This blazer was a total score from Jomar at $14.99. It was sold on one of their “estate” racks, meaning they probably went to an estate sale, bought up a few boxes of stuff and were re-selling it at major discount prices no matter the designer name! Not probably, I can pretty much bet that’s the deal! And for a Polished for Pennies Gal Pal, another persons trash is our treasure and this deal was a major steal! With a polished tailoring job and Zipfactor fit, I paired this longer Vertigo Paris black blazer over a leather skirt for a play on menswear with edge. I love the idea of making a blazer the top. Nope, no blouse underneath. This look is meant to make the blazer the star of my fall fashion look and give uniformity to my style in classic all black with a play on textures.
To add even more style, I added a cozy Sole Society faux fur infinity scarf, vintage butterfly pin, and Sole Society black booties which also has a texture play. They’ve mixed a little leather, suede, and metal and I love that!
