Oh the bunny rabbit! 🙂
As a kid, and even now, Easter is one of my favorite holidays! And no, not just because of the Easter bunny, maybe… but primarily because it’s finally spring! The time when fresh tulips and daffodils peek through the ground as a sign that a whole new season is about to bloom. A brand new start of something. A fresh take on where you’re hoping to be next, as the sun FINALLY glares across your skin and your filled with a sigh of relief that the snow has melted. Ah, so nice right? 🙂
But back to the Easter bunny. I had a thought the other day, and it’s something I’m realizing more and more. It’s the fact that one can’t quickly “hop” through life.
It’s the truth. When you want to move, when you want to get to your peak, when you want to find the meaning in things in life’s ups and downs, when you want to regain your balance… here’s a reminder, for you and me, you can’t rush it. Why? Well, because we just don’t control that. You actually have to go through what you need to.
Although time may feel like it’s moving as fast as the hare, we have no control of the speed. Of the actual time that passes. We can only control what we do with it. So as you continue to hop along and hope for better days, brighter days, and even more bountiful days… don’t rush like the hare. Stop. Be gracious, feel gratitude, and be thankful (even when it’s hard, really hard, or non-sensical) of where you are. You have to go through what you’re going through.
It’s not easy, trust me. Not at all, but that’s why we’re not just hopping along, we’re hoping. Have faith and be strong chicks 😉

Happy Easter Holiday to all! And whether you celebrate it or not, Happy New Spring! I hope it’s everything you’re hoping and hopping for!
